GAZA
Stipple engraving by James Denison-Pender on two
sheets of optical crystal, each engraved on both sides,
mounted on a wood and perspex stand.
Height 25cm, width 13cm.
This piece was engraved in December 2023 and January
2024. During this period Gaza City was bombed, then
invaded. Large numbers of Palestinians moved to the
south of the Gaza Strip where they were told they would
be safe. Many of them had to live in tents with very
little food, water or medical aid. They weren’t safe.
Even there they were bombed and killed.
